Real Estate Lawyer (Legal)
Job Description:
HPE is seeking a real estate lawyer to act as the principal advisor to the HPE Global Real Estate team and other company attorneys with respect to all real estate legal issues. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to collaborate with the Global Real Estate team and assume a critical role in the execution of HPE's real global estate strategy. The candidate will identify legal risk and recommend solutions that help address the client's objectives. Represents company in transactions, interactions, or disputes with landlords and other parties. Balances the business interests of client groups with ultimate fiduciary responsibility to company.
Responsibilities:
Create value through the skillful and timely negotiation, drafting and closing of real estate purchase and sale agreements and ground leases.
Review, evaluate, draft and negotiate a wide range of real estate related documents, including easements, SNDAs, estoppels, CC&Rs, leases, loan documents, licensing agreements and construction contracts.
Manage and coordinate outside real estate counsel, related legal expenses and budget. Review and approve legal fees for payment.
