Senior Financial Analyst - Sourcing (Finance)

Johnsonville, LLC Senior Financial Analyst - Sourcing Position Overview: This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual to leverage their analytical expertise and leadership skills as a Senior Financial Analyst for Sourcing. The successful candidate will join a team committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and member development. This position plays a key leadership role by providing impartial financial analysis and guidance, decision support and recommendations, and development of financial acumen across the entire Sourcing team.   • Be an integral member of the Sourcing team, providing leadership, performance reporting and analysis, strategic and financial planning, and strategic decision support
  • Partner with the Sourcing team to deliver the strategic financial plan, the annual target (budget), and operational forecasts by championing Integrated Business Planning
  • Develop financial analysis and recommendations that help our partners better understand their business from a financial perspective
  • Critically evaluate business opportunities and provide financial guidance
  • Educate members on financial acumen and the impact on results, driving for financially sound decisions
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes for meat and materials, including annual standard cost evaluations and maintenance
  • Perform routine month-end close responsibilities as it relates to meat and materials and provide meaningful analysis and actionable insights
  • Work closely with the Contract Manufacturing team and third-party business partners to develop and maintain accurate cost workbooks and pricing files
  • Actively participate in identifying and initiating cost savings from continuous improvement
  • Participate on various project teams as needed
  • Opportunity to coach interns and rotational team members

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

Experience:
  • Five (5) years of analytical experience required; cost accounting and analytics experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in food or CPG a plus but not required
  • Strong systems background - knowledge of SAP including SAP Business Objects Reporting and Business Planning and Consolidation tools and Power BI preferred
  • Experience coaching/leading a team a plus but not required
