Product Manager, myEquifax Mobile (Finance)



As the Senior Product Manager for the myEquifax Mobile Application, you will help manage the entire product lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include helping to define the mobile product strategy, roadmap, and features. This role is crucial in ensuring our mobile offerings are competitive in the marketplace, and provide outstanding user value that aligns with our Direct to Consumer business goals. It demands a person who offers a combination of strategic insight, profound technical knowledge of mobile ecosystems, and strong background in guiding diverse cross-functional teams through release.

What you'll do

  • Help define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our mobile applications, aligning with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify unmet needs and opportunities for mobile product innovation.
  • Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on strategic importance, user impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in agile product development ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, user feedback/ratings, and market trends to inform future product iterations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest mobile technology trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
  • Champion the mobile user experience, ensuring a seamless and intuitive product.

What experience you need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 5+ years of product management/development experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing mobile products from conception to launch and beyond.
  • Familiar with mobile development processes, technologies and mobile app store guidelines (Apple and Google)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • A passion for mobile technology and creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Consistent with Equifax's 3/2+2 flexible work framework, a willingness to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Equifax's Atlanta-based office

What could set you apart
  • Experience working in the consumer credit or other highly regulated FinTech space.
  • A background in digital consumer subscription products, preferably in a mobile application.
  • Experience with mobile analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Datadog).
