Entry Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer (Engineering)

Emerson Automation Solutions' - Process Systems and Solutions business has a great opportunity for new graduates to develop and implement automation projects using Syncade (Manufacturing Execution System) in the life sciences industry. Syncade is Emerson's smart operation management software suite used for electronic batch record design and execution, systems integration, equipment tracking, inventory management and product release.
Our customers look to Emerson and Syncade to help establish repeatable and reliable operations, eliminate paper, reduce work in process, and increase plant efficiency. Syncade is used with DeltaV, Emerson's digital process automation solution, to manage, control, and provide visibility into drug product and drug substance production processes. By fulfilling our customer's MES automation needs, you can have a direct impact on their ability to create safe, pure, and effective lifesaving medicines.
Responsibilities We are seeking highly motivated candidates to work with our subject matter experts on fast paced projects in a global environment. These projects can last between 6 and 18 months and involve every phase from gathering requirements through solutions design and development to short term on-site support. As an MES Engineer, you will have an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to engineer solutions for some of the largest and most complex Pharmaceutical and Biologic plants in the world. You will work alongside experienced process and automation engineers to design, develop, test and document automation solutions in an office environment. You will also have the opportunity to work at customer sites by participating in requirement workshops, installing/migrating solutions, educating and training customers and providing short term on-site support.
