Nurse Recruiter - RN Required (Human Resources)

We are seeking a Nurse Recruiter to:

  • Attract, screen, source and efficiently hire the best qualified RN candidates who embrace UW Health's mission and values.
  • Develop and implement both traditional and creative recruitment strategies to attract top-talent to assure staffing needs are achieved.
  • Participate in internal and external recruitment events.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Nurse Recruiters and leaders throughout UW Health.

Education:

Minimum – Graduate of school of Nursing

Preferred – Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Work Experience:

Minimum – Three (3) years of relevant RN experience

Preferred –

  • Five (5) years relevant RN experience
  • Experience with recruitment and selection
  • Previous management experience
  • Nurse Recruiter experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Licensure as a Registered Nurse

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of human resources management as applied to nursing with recruitment and selection experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary nursing care practices and care delivery structures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and customer service skills
  • Effective organization, planning and follow-up skills
  • Knowledge and experience of HRIS for recruitment purposes, and experience in the use of computers for word processing and statistical analysis purposes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools.  Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Schedule: Full time position.  Hours are Monday – Friday; typically working day shift hours.  There may be travel required for career events.  This position is primarily remote, with some onsite work required for various meetings.

These locations are home to departments such as Access Services, Compliance, Human Resources, Information Services, Patient Medical Records, Payroll and many others.
