Shipping Clerk (Administrative)



Responsibilities:
• Package parts according to customer specification
• Pully daily shipping reports
• Scan previous day's BOL's & Verification sheets & save in appropriate folders
• WIP product into stock
• Create pack slips on outgoing shipments
• Create ASN's using customer portals
• Create Bill of Lading
• Correctly match paperwork to outbound property
• Follow all verification processes
• Conduct weekly inventory of shipping supplies and report to lead/supervisor anything that is running low
• Scheduling carriers for pickup (e.g., Ryder, TMS, Fed Ex, UPS, Leadfoot)
• Recording of all tracking numbers for outbound shipments on Bills of Lading
• Maintaining scheduled shipments Bills of Lading (BOL) organized and ready for carriers
• Load outgoing shipments and assist in unloading trucks using dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift as needed
• Ensure outbound product is staged in an organized fashion
• Organize and coordinate distribution of inbound return crates
• Stage and return outbound return crates. Maintain accurate vendor addresses for return
• Ensure all outgoing shipments get ship confirmed
• Organize and maintain organization of empty crates and carts, COW inventory product, excess shipping materials, etc.
• Maintain an “Ultra C-Lean” working environment by following proper work procedures, ensuring a clean work area, and confirming at the beginning and end of each shift that the work area has an accurate inventory of tools
• Work extended hours and overtime, including weekends, as required by the work schedule and production needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications:
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Demonstrated organization and time management skills strongly preferred
• Attention to detail strongly preferred
• Aptitude for detailed, repetitive work strongly preferred
• High School Diploma, GED, or able to demonstrate basic written, reading, verbal, and math skills required
• Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events required
• Demonstrated experience working independently and within a team environment required
