Job Description: The ProgramCoordinator is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of their designated clinical and/or treatment program, as well as providing direct services as necessary. Duties include supervising program staff and ensuring that services are provided according to best practice standards that promote client recovery. Schedule: Full Time Salary: $60,000 /yearProgram: Intensive Behavioral Health Services ProgramLocation: Wyomissing, PAJob Functions:
  • Possess knowledge of the organization and management of clinical and/or treatment services for behavioral health clients
  • Possess knowledge of the agency's policies and procedures
  • Effectively implement program goals regarding service delivery
  • Conduct regular program staff meetings to meet administrative needs of the program
  • Possess knowledge of the agency's primary software systems
  • Use Word, Excel, Clinician's Desktop and Groupwise effectively
  • Maintain effective and efficient communication with direct supervisor
  • Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner
  • Train staff to effectively conduct their work responsibilities
  • Orient all new program staff to the agency policy and procedures, the program's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and licensure/regulatory/contractual demands of the program
  • Possess knowledge of the required staff qualifications for all program positions
  • Maintain adequate staffing to ensure efficient and quality services and the maintenance ofprogram needs
  • Maintain an effective work schedule to provide full program coverage and productivity
  • Ensure that sufficient inservice training is provided to all program staff, consistent with program and individual staff needs
  • Possess knowledge of staff performance evaluation processes and ability to document staff compliance with requisite performance standards
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and 90-day probationary evaluations
  • Communicate HR-approved personnel disciplinary actions, as necessary, consistent with agency personnel policy
  • Maintain compliance with all required training requirements and personnel documentation standards
  • Complete all required trainings as per Professional Development Plan
  • Submit to Human Resources copies of all required documentation regarding degree, licenses, certifications, clearances and formal trainings
  • Possess knowledge of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements and agency policies and procedures governing the operation of their program
  • Maintain program in full compliance with all applicable licensing standards, contractual requirements and all agency policies
  • Assist supervisor in evaluating program effectiveness and developing annual program plan
  • Maintain documentation of program compliance with Performance Improvement indicators, census and other utilization data
  • Possess knowledge of the standards and ethical principles of the best practice of the behavioral healthcare relevant to their program
  • Collect outcome data and assess efficacy of program services
  • Provide direct supervisor and the corporate office with a preliminary response to client complaints/grievances
  • Possess knowledge of clinical performance improvement systems
  • Conduct continual evaluation of program and develop strategies to implement performance improvement activities as indicated
  • Report incidents through the incident management system in a timely and effective manner
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, their families, payers, community support service representatives, and agencies
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers and community support service representatives and agencies
  • Participate in interagency meetings and represent the agency in an effective and professional manner
  • Prepare clear and concise reports and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Work within a group to develop internal systems to improve or ensure quality services
  • Develop formal proposals to meet developing and ongoing program needs
  • Participate in agency committees
  • Assist with development of expansion of services or with the development of new services
  • Maintain awareness of growth potential in field and discussed with supervisor
  • Participate in at least one committee as dictated by the Director
  • Possess knowledge of basic budgeting principles and ability to monitor agency compliance with active, approved budget
  • Ensure that program service delivery and program operating costs are within budgeted parameters
  • Monitor program spending and minimize all unnecessary program costs
  • Monitor an inventory of all program equipment, furnishings, and other property; reporting any need for replacement or repair in a timely manner
  • Oversee the full provision of clinically indicated services
  • Maintain effectiveness in providing all authorized client services and providing supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, in a timely manner
  • Manage all program staff payroll and billing submissions
  • Obtain and submit time cards, billing forms, and all necessary clinical documentation from all staff on the established schedule
  • Verify the accuracy of all payroll and billing documentation prior to submission
  • Submit only valid and reasonable program expense reimbursement requests in a timely manner
  • Possess knowledge of applicable billing systems and pay source requirements
  • Interface with the Accounting Department, as needed, to resolve billing problems that require program intervention
  • Supervise direct service staff in a psychosocial service program
  • Possess knowledge of the basic principles and aims of counseling
  • Provide direct supervision to program staff, individually and group-based, on a\ regular basis
  • Maintain 24-hour availability to program staff and management for emergency consultation
  • Provide back-up supervisory support to other programs, as needed
  • Provide direct service to clients as needed
  • Knowledge of recovery principles and cultural competency principles
  • Ensure all program services are compliant with recovery and cultural competency principles
  • Possess knowledge of both general and specialized community resources/services available to behavioral health clients
  • Provide staff and clients with information regarding access to community resources, facilitating access as necessary
  • Make prompt referrals to appropriate levels of care when the program is unable to handle client needs or in crisis situations

Minimum Requirements:Education: Master's Degree in a clinical behavioral health disciplineExperience: Three years of post-degree experience in the behavioral health field, with one year of increasing supervisory responsibilityLicensure/Certifications: **License preferred. BSL, LPC OR LCSW are accepted, BCBA preferred**Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceCompensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week.
