Fabrication Trim Assembler/Saw - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Our Special Fab team is dedicated to fabrication of trim accessories for the aesthetic/façade completion of our projects. Our Special Fab department evaluates and ensures the integrity of our material and systems.

Job Highlights

  • Starting wage - $20.38 per hour 
  • Attendance bonus upon completion of 90-days of successful employment
  • Full Time – 1st shift 4:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Here's What You'll Get To Do

  • Be able to safely work in all areas of the plant floor
  • Be able to learn interpret engineering information
  • Be able to assemble windows with proper instructions and use of tools
  • Ability to run saws
  • Learn Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope quality standards
  • Be able to learn assembly of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope's standard systems
  • Must be able to read/use a tape measure
  • Physical inspection and verification of all assembled window assemblies
  • Must be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision
  • Prior window manufacturing experiences a plus
  • Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules, are essential functions of your job

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk, and reach frequently
  • Ability to lift/move 75 pounds intermittently.
  • Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor; wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to ten hours per day
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control
