The salary range for this position is $105,700 - $132,200 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks during the calendar year and December wellness/shutdown week for applicable positions.

SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects of paid social advertising across the Kendo brands, focused on scalable revenue-driving and customer growth strategies through direct response tactics on social platforms. The right candidate has a deep understanding and expertise of each paid social platform in terms of best practices with proven expertise to marry together analytical and tactical skill (segmentation strategies, optimization tactics, etc.) with strong creative and brand storytelling to drive results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Channel Management & Optimization

  • Manage all paid social advertising strategies & campaigns in partnership with agency to drive new customer acquisition & revenue growth across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Partner closely with marketing & digital team partners on developing integrated, 360-degree activation plans for key campaigns, launches, and core support; provide recommendations for paid social channel based on best-practices and campaign needs.
  • Manage continuous test & learn roadmap and iterate on learnings to inform ongoing optimization & improvement.
  • Lead direct response creative strategy & messaging for best-in-class ads in support of best-practices for each platform, partnering closely with creative, copy, and marketing teams.
  • Develop target audience strategies and continuously revisit with industry changes, brand considerations, campaign details, etc.; integrate strategies with customer journeys for holistic customer strategy across channels in partnership with CRM.
  • Manage day-to-day communication, alignment, and execution of channel with agency.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with platform partners to optimize existing program & learn about new opportunities and updates in the industry.
  • Analyze performance KPIs (ROAS, CAC, LTV, etc.) on an ongoing basis to drive optimizations and ensure campaigns are maximizing performance and hitting goals.
  • Emulate a culture of innovation, sharing ideas and identifying/vetting new and emerging paid social/media opportunities to test for the Kendo brands.

Budget & Invoicing:

  • Manage paid social spend against budget, optimizing investment and strategies to balance efficiency and goals.
  • Keep track of and process all paid social invoices on time for financial schedule.

Reporting & Forecasts

  • Develop reporting and measurement tactics to quantify and showcase paid social performance with KPIs (ROAS, CPA, LTV, etc.); report on and highlight insights, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Continuously monitor and report on learnings & channel performance, sharing with digital and cross-functional teams & leadership.
  • Forecast revenue/key KPI estimates for affiliate channel for key activations and moments.

Misc.

  • Share insights and updates cross-functionally and to team leadership regarding paid social trends & performance.
  • Emulate a culture of innovation, sharing ideas and identifying/vetting new growth channel opportunities to test for the Kendo brands.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of related digital marketing experience with expertise in paid social advertising at industry-leading brands/companies/agencies, ideally in beauty, fashion, or consumer goods with eCommerce, retail, and/or DTC experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing and analytics tools and technology (Google Analytics, platform ads managers, tag management platforms, etc.)
  • Extensive experience leading and managing agency and vendor relationships. Experience also with internal channel execution preferred.
  • Able to balance both creative and analytical thinking while being customer-focused and brand-obsessed.
  • Demonstrated ability to own strong creative briefing and create/adapt processes.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to bubble up insights and trends in a concise, shareable manner; experience creating dashboards and reports.
  • Experience managing across multiple brands at once a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
