The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an HIS Federal Markets Coding/CDI Solutions Trainer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Introduction, demonstration, and training customers on Solventum™ 360 Encompass™ and associated products, incorporating blended Learning & adult learning concepts.
  • Delivery of live classroom- and web- based training, as well as contribution to asynchronous training
  • Knowledge of all course components and applicable pre-requisites
  • Assess learners' level of content comprehension post training
  • Participate in project implementations with pre and post go live participation with key project stakeholders.
  • May serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentor and contributor to internal HIS teams, such as Implementations, Support, Documentation, Instructional Design, or others as designated

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher AND (4) four years experience in coding in a private, public, government or military environment

OR
High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and eight (8) years of experience in Coding in a private, public, government or military environment
AND

Current experience working with DOD and VA
Federal Government Agency experience with security clearance credentials

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Credentialed training related experience, such as ICD-10 Certified Trainer or other
  • Experience with additional Solventum™ 360 Encompass™ products including Professional
  • Demonstrable experience using the Solventum Coding and reimbursement System (CRS) and Solventum™ 360 Encompass™
  • Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, PCS

In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities. Those facilities may, in turn, require you to possess certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications (collectively "prerequisites to entry") for regulatory, safety, or other business reasons.

Work location: Remote-United States

Travel: May include up to 10%[domestic/international]

Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
