Technology Process Developer (Project Management)
U.S. Silica is a global performance materials company and a leading producer of commercial silica used in a wide range of industrial applications and in the oil and gas industry. EP Minerals is an industry leader in the production of products derived from diatomaceous earth, perlite, engineered clays, and non-activated clays. We control 489 million tons of reserves of commercial silica, which can be processed to make 197 million tons of finished products that meet American Petroleum Institute ("API") frac sand specifications, and 79 million tons of reserves of diatomaceous earth, perlite, and clays.

The Technology Process Developer will create new products and business opportunities for the Industrial and Specialty Products business by maximizing current equipment capabilities and implementing new equipment. This position will lead projects through a stage gate product development process from the ideation through commercialization phases. This person will need to keep abreast of market intelligence on competitor's technology and new technology appropriate for the mining industry. The position will require about 30 percent travel time to visit customers, plants, or conferences. The Technology Process Developer will report into the Industrial and Specialty Products Technology Director.
