Set up and run Additive Manufacturing (AM) print jobs, overseeing the process throughout the build
Performing AM build post-processing steps including: de-powdering, band saw cutting, manual deburring
Safe handling of metal powders including sieving, sampling, transferring, proper storage and disposal
Adhering to the AS9100 standard and complying with internal quality standards
Maintaining AM, powder handling, and auxiliary equipment
Support manufacturing team with daily operations
Contribute to and implement continuous improvement projects with the manufacturing team
Assist the team in developing manufacturing plans
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment
Requirements:
1+ years of manufacturing experience, aerospace and/or AM equipment experience considered a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability are considered an asset
Experience operating AM equipment, other large machinery, CNC or manual machining are considered an asset
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
General working knowledge of basic measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers
Careful attention to detail, ability to follow detailed work instructions, and ability to be a continuous learner
Dedication to teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility to wear “multiple hats”
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Ability to lift 10 to 40 pounds on a frequent basis
Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators, ESD shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and flame-retardant clothing
Ability to safely work with hazardous materials
General working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
