What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role, you will oversee the financial planning and reporting for LEA by delivering forecasts, budgets, business insights, and leading efforts in data transformation and digitalization
  • You will manage three direct reports to drive value, insights, and decision support in alignment with the Company's vision and strategy
  • Further, you will manage the financial planning process, collaborating with the Director of Finance & Accounting and the CFO to develop integrated forecasts for the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
  • You also will provide recommendations to support the Company's financial goals and objective
  • Additionally, you will perform financial analyses of the business and product lines, delivering insights and recommendations that align with business objectives
  • You will conduct scenario planning to assess key risks and opportunities, enabling proactive action plans
  • In this role, you will analyze trade working capital to optimize cash flow
  • Further, you will lead the evaluation and implementation of SAP Cloud Analytics and SAP Datasphere to enhance reporting quality, timeliness, and accuracy for better business decision-making
  • Ensuring financial targets and performance measures are effective and driving optimal results is part of your role
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to continually improve performance measures
  • Also, you will learn and adhere to the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct, consistently demonstrating honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions, and decisions

What makes you great

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum seven years' experience in Finance or Accounting Analysis is required, as well as experience in managing people; leading, developing and engaging team members
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is critical for this role
  • SAP / Analysis for Office experience is a plus
  • You have the ability to multi-task, reprioritize deliverables and remain organized within tight timelines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • In the field of strategic thinking, you need the ability to leverage financial insights to influence strategy and operations; Applies innovation to financial processes to support growth and cost optimization
  • Change Leadership - Communicates business need for a change in strategy and processes, this includes defining vision state, leading change/engaging teams, and implementing
  • You have analytical and problem-solving - ability to analyze data for relationships and in-depth understanding in order to influence financial plans and continuous improvement
  • Minimal travel expected in role (< 5%)
