In addition to being responsible for the overall profit and loss for the business unit, this position will provide tactical and strategic guidance and be responsible for developing and implementing the Business Unit's Strategic Plan with an emphasis on AMETEK's four-pronged growth strategy promoting operational excellence, strategic acquisitions, global & market expansion, and new products. This role comes with high expectations to lead and drive this growth and expansion, both organically and through the development of new capabilities and acquisitions. This is a great opportunity for a proven leader to take the business to the next level, building a team capable of delivering high growth rates in a strategic market for the AMETEK Aerospace and Defense Division. This successful candidate in this position would become a potential successor to the VP & General Manager.
