Vetsource is looking for a Digital Content Specialist with stellar writing skills and experience in digital best practices to create engaging content for veterinary practices and pet owners across the country.
In this position, you'll write copy for B2B email marketing campaigns, create content for our corporate website, handle online reputation management, and manage our social media pages.
Your day might involve collaborating with a Marketing Manager on a new blog post, crafting a response to a Yelp review, developing content for a nurture campaign, or creating copy for our social media pages.
The ideal candidate is a positive team player with strong writing skills, has a knack for developing compelling content, and thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments.
Responsibilities:
● Create copy for emails and landing pages; take ownership of incorporating best practices for digital content creation, including the development of effective subject lines, CTAs, and email formatting
● Establish a digital content strategy and editorial calendar designed to drive increased followership and engagement
● Manage social media, including content creation and reporting
● Be the public voice of Vetsource by managing our social reputation
● Develop and support a best-practice blog program, including writing blog posts to support B2B lead-generation efforts, inserting effective CTAs, and promoting blog posts through appropriate channels
● Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Managers, and Marketing Communications Specialist to support digital content strategy
● Ensure content supports SEO goals, brand standards, web style guidelines, and legal and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
● BA or BS in a related field
● 3+ years of experience developing content for email marketing campaigns, landing pages, and effective CTAs, preferably in a B2B environment
● 3+ years of hands-on experience with content management systems, including WordPress and social media channels
● Strong background in B2B digital marketing best practices, including subject line efficacy and UI/UX
● Ability to produce digital content in a fast-paced environment
● Self-motivated with an enthusiasm to explore and take action, with strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills
● Strong attention to detail and exceptional ability to prioritize
● Knowledge of SEO tactics and standards; basic Photoshop knowledge
● Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
