Position Overview

 

We are seeking an experienced ERP business solutions architect to join our growing organization. In this position, you will analyze existing systems for improvement, recommend new system processes, and keep detailed reports of all structural and process changes. You must follow best practices and align with company goals while creating better procedures and solutions to increase performance and revenue.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Designs new computer systems and applications by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
  • Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
  • Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
  • Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Works with the appropriate Business Stakeholders to review and understand the business' expectations and priorities, evaluate requirements, propose options, and implement high quality solutions.
  • Provides visibility to the business and centralized IT team for ongoing IT initiatives.
  • Builds collaborative relationships across the IT organization and with business unit personnel and management to affect a unified and customer-focused End User Service experience.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. 
  • At least 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience in information technology technical support, with 3 years at a supervisory level is preferred.  
  • Relevant experience working within a large, multifaceted organization, consisting of cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system is required.
  • Knowledge of core business processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, & Record to Report are required.
  • Knowledge of CRM, WMS, and TMS integrations is strongly recommended.
  • Prior experience with modern business application tools like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Tableau, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft or Celigo
  • Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques.
  • Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions
  • Ability to effectively work alongside and communicate with people with a wide range of skills, experience, cultures and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business value through IT, balancing drive for continuous improvement with respect of local company culture and processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment toward customer service.
