Executive Security Specialist (Finance)

The Armed Executive Security Specialist position requires this individual to maintain and utilize safety, medical, tactical skills and understanding of office and senior executive support services, to provide safety resources, medical aid, visitor processing, escorts, special event support, in a customer focused and professional manner. This position also requires the individual to serve as a liaison between administrative staff and security management. The Specialist will work as part of a dynamic team to support the Executive Leadership Team.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain a safe and secure executive floor workspace
  • Coordinate, escort, or assist in escorting, persons/visitors to and from secured locations
  • Observe, report, and take-action when faced with inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects
  • Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents
  • Respond to safety and health emergency-related incidents
  • Assist and liaise effectively with security and other teams
  • Provide emergency medical aid
  • Oversee executive lobby operation and visitor management to the floor
  • Provide both on-site and off-site conference and meeting support
  • Ability to work a flex schedule that might include some evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work past normal assigned shift due to business needs
  • Off Site Conference support that might include some travel and overnight stays

What you'll need:

  • Possess a State of New Jersey permit to carry a firearm
  • Emergency Medical Service Training- EMT or Paramedic preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior Law Enforcement or Executive Security experience preferred
  • Conflict de-escalation skills
  • Defensive tactics
  • Good physical condition
  • Security Officer Registration Act Certification preferred

The requirements of this role will necessitate the successful candidate to complete a behavioral health assessment and potentially a physical assessment as well.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $55,300.00 to $82,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
