Network Transportation Planner (Information Technology)

Position Overview:
We are seeing an analytical and results-driven Network Transportation Planner to join our growing transportation function through an exciting period of expansion. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of inventory between co-packing partners, internal warehouses, and third-party logistics (3PL) distribution centers. You will ensure optimal inventory positioning to meet customer demand while balancing service levels, transportation efficiency, and cost.

Responsibilities:
· Plan and coordinate inter-facility transfers of materials from co-packers to internal 3PL warehouses.
· Ensure timely and accurate transportation of inventory to meet customer delivery schedules.
· Analyze shipping data and network requirements to optimize routes, consolidate shipments, and reduce freight expenditure.
· Collaborate closely with supply chain planners, warehouse managers, and customer service teams to align transportation activities with production and demand planning.
· Work cross-functionally with 3PL providers, co-packers, and internal stakeholders to proactively manage network changes and service disruptions.
· Maintain compliance with internal policies, food safety regulations, and cold chain protocols.
· Prepare data-driven reports and support scenario planning and network optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:
Knowledge
· Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals, particularly transportation, inventory, and warehousing.
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management preferred.
· Familiarity with co-packer operations, 3PL services, and both ambient and cold chain logistics.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and temperature-controlled freight handling.
· Working knowledge of freight cost structure and carrier management.
Skills
· Proficient in TMS, WMS, and other logistics and supply chain systems.
· Strong analytical mindset for load planning and transportation network design.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
· Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities under timelines.
Abilities
· Ability to identify and resolve logistics issues proactively.
· Capability to coordinate complex material flows across a growing network.
· Adaptability in responding to evolving network requirements and customer expectations.
· Comfortable collaborating across functions in a fast-paced environment.
· Resilience and adaptability during rapid growth and change.
· Continuous improvement mindset.

Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours Monday - Friday at our Neenah, WI Distribution Center. There may be travel to our Little Chute, WI or Neenah, WI manufacturing facilities.

Physical and Mental Demands:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
