Fabrication Supervisor Night Shift (Manufacturing)
WeldFit is looking for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor Night Shift (4pm-4am), whom is motivated to help the company grow as well as the employees. The Supervisor will be responsible for directing and supervising all phases of manufacturing within quality, time and cost standards by performing the following duties.
Duties/Expectations:
Machinery
- Experience leading welders and machinist. Preferrably welder and machinist by trade.
- Troubleshoots machinery problems and corrects operation deviations within ability
- Oversees set up and operation of all machine operations on a daily basis
Employee Management
- Offers instruction and assistance to manufacturing employees on work methods, company policy, procedures and related topics
- Investigates and documents production problems and employee complaints as needed
- Reports production and employee problems to management as needed
- Establishes and monitors safety standards within company guidelines for the manufacturing process
Product Management
- Spots deviations from product quality standards and directs corrective action immediately
- Maintains product manufacture within company standards for quality, timeliness and cost
- Directs and controls workloads to ensure smooth operation and flow of product
- Identifies materials required for production
Miscellaneous
- Performs all plant functions to cover scheduled work breaks
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years supervision experience required
- 10 years of experience in oil and gas
- Industrial/Fabrication background
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and climb
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Physical dexterity skills
