Cost Analyst (Major Tech Construction Projects) (Finance)
Arcadis is seeking a Cost Analyst with a focus on capital projects to join our Places team in Charleston, SC. This position is based on the client site in Charleston, SC.

Role description:
As a Cost Analyst you will assist with capital project controls (estimating, cost management, planning/scheduling, risk management, change management) during the design and construction phases of across a variety of project types and sectors.
Role accountabilities:
Assist with alignment of the client's portfolio controls governance and objectives.
Assist with developing procurement strategies and support site-based project control teams and project managers.
Participate in capital planning sessions.
Coordinate implementation plan with project site teams and escalate areas of misalignment and improvement.
Escalate requests for improvements, tooling, & resources.
Assess data to identify early indication of project risks.
Support project site budget development, management, and negotiations
Escalate projects risks and develop of mitigation plans.
Assist with gap analysis of site-based best practice for implementation and training.
Identify areas for standardization and best practices.
Align with client global controls.
Collaborate with SME in the development of governance, processes, and training materials.
Support proper governance of tool usage, ensure manual workarounds are not occurring, and drive to consistent tool usage.
Assist with training of project teams/individual users as needed to correct any on-going issues and provide updates on new requests.
Maintain and control budgets from design concept through to project completion.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or related work experience
