Communications Specialist - Marketing Services (Project Management)

The Communications Specialist helps drive HORNE's overall brand voice and develops messages for internal and external audiences. This role reports to the Senior Marketing Manger and partners with firm leaders and clients to meet creative, marketing, brand, and business objectives. This position requires a person to develop clear and effective messages, assist with HORNE's overall communications planning, and to provide input on firm content.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable with both internal and external communications in a variety of industries and adjusting quickly to accommodate the changing needs and priorities.
Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced professional services firm and work closely with internal and external subject matter experts and outside contractors to develop compelling and effective written and audiovisual content.
Types of content include internal communications messages, press releases, bylined articles, white papers, corporate videos and marketing collateral. Ability to digest complex information into easily consumable information is key.
Core areas of responsibility include brand messaging and storytelling, which is applied to everything from campaigns to web and digital communications. The ideal candidate must be ready & able to bring ideas, provide strategic perspective, and help deliver on-brand communications that maintain HORNE's brand vision and image.
