CAD/Engineering Technician (Architecture)

What you'll be challenged to do:
Entry-level position for a person with a basic operational understanding of computer graphics and drafting.
What you bring to our firm:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Seeks opportunities to develop the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Basic understanding of Engineering and Architectural Scales.Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
What we'd prefer for you to bring to our firm:
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; AutoCAD or MicroStation; Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam required. Knowledge of Revit and Civil 3D desired.
At least 2 years related experience.
This position may require some travel to offices and client sites within their respective area, using various modes of transportation including automobile and airline. There is a potential that this will be a part-time position.
