Manufacturing Engineer (Engineering)
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer develops process routing, CNC programs, tooling, and fixtures to be used in the manufacturing processes.
Essential Functions
• Develop manufacturing processes utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, components, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, and assembly methods.
• Develop CNC programs for 2 and 9 axis lathes; 3, 4, and 5 axis mills; and mill-turns using Esprit programming software for both mills and lathes. Verify using simulation software (NCSIMUL).
• Develop operation sketches using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (KeyCreator and SolidWorks) for parametric modeling, simulation, analysis, and product documentation.
• Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
• Sets machine sequence set-up and cycle times for the manufacture parts to customer requirement.

Required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• 7 years of related experience
• Programming software experience
• CAD experience
• SolidWorks / ESPRIT experience preferred
