Clinical Research Coordinator (Finance)
Duties will include:
- Institutional review board protocol and informed consent document preparation/submission and compliance with institutional review board policies
- Study subject recruitment processes (obtaining informed consent, interviewing study subjects, obtaining/reviewing their medical records to ascertain demographic and phenotypic data, entering study data onto data forms and into electronic databases)
- Obtaining research biosamples, delivering research biosamples to local study laboratories, and preparing biosamples for express mailing to central biosample repositories
- Maintaining study records and preparing recruitment activity reports - Completing requisitions for study subject payments or reimbursements
- Meeting other inflammatory bowel disease research program needs that may arise
The incumbent will interact and communicate with the Principal Investigator, other study personnel, study subjects, health caregivers, collaborators, institutional review board staff, and research administrative staff.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field, 1 year of experience interacting with patients in a clinical setting either as a healthcare provider or clinical research staff member, and experience with phlebotomy. 5 or more years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree. Experience with managing institutional review board protocols and communications, and experience using the EpicCare electronic medical record system are desirable.
