Senior Vice President, Digital Marketing (Marketing)

Position is located in Orlando, FL

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Simply Self Storage is seeking an innovative digital marketing executive to join our team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and implementation of innovative marketing strategies to continually grow market share of the Simply Self Storage portfolio of properties. S/he will have the ability to develop a world class, industry leading digital platform that will cultivate the tenant acquisition and retention experience.  Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in, develop, and execute corporate objectives and strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Oversee all company branding activities and consumer touch points, including but not limited to local marketing, web marketing and digital marketing.
  • Develop annual strategies and budgets for all marketing activities to drive property performance
  • Develop key metrics around the business and measure through through inclusion in company dashboards used to run the day to day functions of the business.
  • Maximize new customer acquisition rates through the use of digital team (paid search optimization, SEO, third party lead generation spend, email campaigns, web marketing).
  • Lead internal and external team responsible for website and server design, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the internal information technology and SQL team responsible for all IT functions at the corporate and property level.
  • Manage the oversight of external call center as well as the design and implementation of an internal CRM system.
  • Coach, lead and develop talent within the marketing team.

The successful candidate should have a proven track record of leading and developing a forward-thinking organization that stretches to web developers and digital marketing team members.  S/he will be a collaborative leader who knows how to negotiate and manage 3rd party vendors/consultants who knows how to build long term relationships. 

Required Experience:

  • Strong communication, written and oral skills required
  • Ability to travel and track record of influencing in a highly matrix organization preferred
  • Ability to operate at the highest level within an organization and be a leader of leaders
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Extensive web/digital marketing experience 
  • Masters Degree preferred 

 

Education

Required
  • Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field
