Events and Marketing Specialist (Finance)



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main duties and responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Execute the Communications Department's overall communications and marketing strategy to raise exposure of Parish facilities, including the use of social media, marketing materials and community engagement (fairs, trade shows, conferences, etc.)
Work with vendors and respective groups to coordinate and execute special events and provide on-site management of assigned events at the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center.
Ensure that logistical details for assigned events are planned and executed effectively from start to finish.
Identify and maintain strong relationships with area vendors, businesses and organizations to raise awareness of Parish facilities and services and to promote use of the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center.
