Internal Sales Associate, Senior Associate - State Street Investment Management (Finance)

State Street Investment Management is seeking a motivated and client-focused Internal Sales Associate to join our Internal Sales Desk. This role will be instrumental in supporting the sales efforts of our Regional Consultants (RCs), who cover territories with the highest concentrations of wealth in the country. Rather than owning direct client relationships, you will collaborate closely with multiple RCs to help drive adoption of our investment solutions and increase market share within their territories.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning: Partner with Regional Consultants to develop and execute territory business plans aimed at improving and expanding the distribution of our investment solutions among financial advisors.
  • Sales Process: Support a team-based selling approach by leveraging the full breadth of State Street Investment Management's capabilities and resources to deliver a full array of solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Deliver excellent, high-quality outbound engagement activity through multiple digital mediums (e.g., WebEx, conference calls, phone calls, emails, etc.) to support RCs in their client interactions.
  • Business Leadership: Deliver risk excellence and support the business as a whole through internal and external relationship development.

Primary Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required (must be obtained within six months of start date)
  • 1-3 years of related industry experience, preferably within asset management and/or wealth management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity of investment products and services; familiarity of State Street Investment Management's products and services is a plus
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in capital markets and the asset management industry
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically

Salary Range:
$52,000 - $84,760 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
