A Day in the Life
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, possibly requiring vocational or technical education or certification.
Electrical or Mechanical background.
Experience with Instron & other lab test equipment .
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Computer and/or IT aptitude.
Detail oriented.
Good mechanical problem-solving skills.
Experience with GMP requirements and medical industry standards.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Engineering Organization to support the Operations Engineering Lab and testing related responsibilities.

The candidate will work closely with engineering, completing various electrical and mechanical testing related to validations, quality concerns, design verification and other protocols. In addition, role will support creation, maintenance, and repair of challenge samples, as well as general lab management responsibilities.

Activities within this position will include, but are not limited to:

• Complete testing (Packaging, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) on Boulder products in accordance to test procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance of challenge samples
• Ensure all testing equipment is properly maintained, and order new equipment or supplies as needed to support testing activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency
• Other activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience testing packaging, electrical or mechanical
• Previous medical device experience
• Knowledge of GDP
• Ability to work in a team environment

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$46,800.00 - $70,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
