Shuttle Driver- University Villa at Ironwood (Transportation)
The Shuttle Driver transports residents in company vehicles to and from predetermined and scheduled destinations in a safe and courteous manner. The Shuttle Driver demonstrates a high-level of customer service at all times. Shuttle Drivers will perform all of their duties in compliance with all federal and state laws pertaining to the apartment industry including Fair Housing.
This position reports directly to the Community Manager and has no subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must have a current, valid driver's license with a minimum of three years driving experience. Loss of license must be reported immediately to the Community Manager.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree or equivalent.
Must have a current CDL.
Must have a current DOT medical examiner's certificate (also know as “DOT card” or “DOT Certificate”).
One year of work experience, including 6 months of operating vehicles to transport passengers or material preferred.
Must be familiar with methods to secure information, directions, etc.
He/she must be able to work in highly demanding environment. Also, he/she must be able to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining composure.
MOTOR VEHICLE REPORT
No serious moving violations, accidents or license suspensions/revocations during the past 3 years.
No more than 2 moving violations during the past 2 years.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, bend, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds individually. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in an outdoor environment and is exposed to adverse weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may be moderate to high. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer).
