Americold Corporate Internship (Finance)

Americold Internship Experience (AIE):

The Americold Summer Internship Experience is a 12-week, full time, paid internship that takes place over the summer term in various locations throughout the country. The internship opportunity will afford our interns to better understand the supply chain industry, work on challenging and industry-specific projects, plus the ability to collaborate with organizational leaders, colleagues, and peers.

Corporate Areas of Focus:

Accounting & Finance

Gain hands-on experience at the core of our business. As an Accounting & Finance intern, you'll support key processes like account reconciliation, journal entries, monthly close, and financial reporting. You'll help analyze performance data, assist in preparing management reports and executive presentations, and contribute to compliance efforts. This is a chance to see how finance powers decision-making in a global cold chain organization.

Human Resources

Gain broad exposure to the people side of the cold chain. As a Human Resources intern, you'll support core HR functions like employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and employee engagement. You'll also assist in labor relations, compliance research, and policy development. This track offers a well-rounded view of HR, with opportunities to learn from experts in areas like Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging.

Legal

As a legal intern, you'll assist with drafting and reviewing key agreements, support contract analysis, and help respond to claims and subpoenas. You'll also work with contract databases, revise legal forms, and contribute to compliance projects - gaining exposure to the legal processes that keep Americold running smoothly and responsibly.

Sales & Marketing

As a Sales & Marketing intern, you'll assist with sales analysis, business development, and sales enablement activities. You'll also support marketing efforts by helping create collateral and contributing to campaigns that showcase Americold's value. It's a great opportunity to see how sales and marketing work together to fuel our success.

What Experience You Need:

  • Current junior or senior enrolled at an accredited college/university for an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales or related field of study
  • For the Legal internship - Presently a rising 2L or 3L law student at an accredited law school
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization including with senior level leaders
  • Excellent technical skills including a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
