Program Control Analyst (Finance)



Description

Qualis LLC is seeking a Program Control Analyst who will support and report to the VP of Program Control. The chosen candidate will, under limited supervision, maintain awareness of a project's past, current, and future financial status. Support the project manager(s) by maintaining financial control of the project and control accounts. Maintain and deliver all internal and external reporting requirements (CDRLs) and cost controls as required by the contract. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Essential Duties:

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, monitor, track and report accuracy of existing programs to include deliverables, payment schedules, period of performance, and costs
  • Maintain timekeeping and hour budget tools
  • Set-up and update contracts in Costpoint
  • Update contract Work Force with changes
  • Assist in preparation of budgets on contracts and task orders
  • Notify management of potential at-risk scenarios
  • Provides management with reports on status of their projects
  • Work with Contracts Administrator
  • Work with Prime/Customer Points of Contact when it relates to financial information/funding
  • Perform billing functions of all types for Government Contracts
  • Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other corporate financial policies and procedures.
  • Hold confidential information received from Qualis LLC in strict confidence, and not disclose or divulge either directly or indirectly the confidential information to others without appropriate authorization. Must also exercise a reasonable degree of care to prevent disclosure to others.
  • Employee will also perform such other duties as are customarily performed by other persons in similar such positions, as well as such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Employer.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable of US Government contracts and a variety of contract types (CPFF, T&M, and Fixed price, etc.) and relevant experience required
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint required
  • Experience in government reporting requirements required
  • Able to use all current Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and detecting errors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree
