Associate Strategic Product Manager - Product Data Analyst (Finance)
•Research market and industry trends with a focus on investor needs, competitor offerings and market dynamics
•Collect and synthesize data and collaborate with Product Managers on analysis and commentary
•Track AUM, flows and revenue and benchmark to industry
•Compile, assess and communicate competitive performance and positioning against the market backdrop
•Gather insights from distribution partners through regular dialogue and CRM monitoring
•Develop and maintain a product dashboard to efficiently communicate key trends to multiple constituents
•Collaborate with Product Marketing on collateral updates
•Manage external database reviews, ensuring timely and relevant content updates
•Collaborate with Vehicle Product Managers to support new product launches, changes to product line-up and product rationalization
•Prepare materials for Product Forums, training and committee reviews as needed
Qualifications:
•Bachelor degree in Data Science or Finance and strong academic track record; progress toward CFA is a plus
•3-5 years of work experience in the investment management industry
•Passion for the investment management industry and inquisitive nature
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Advanced desktop analytical and formatting skills, including: SQL, Tableau, VBA or other scripting language is a plus
•A general understanding of Data Architecture, Metadata, Data Lifecycles, Data Quality Standards and Logical Data Modelling practices
•Strong quantitative/numerical analytic skills and critical-thinking skills
•Experience using databases (e.g., CRM, consulting, performance, etc.). Specifically, proficiency with Morningstar Direct or eVestment is a plus
•Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once
•Ability to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
•Strong team orientation
