Associate Specialist, Client Implementation (Finance)
Major Duties
•Acts as the main point of contact with external investment managers and in-house technology partners, operational areas, management and product development during the implementation process.
•Communicate successfully with clients to ensure a positive client experience
•Manage multiple projects simultaneously from beginning to end and ensure timely completion.
•Facilitate and ensure structure for weekly client meetings including producing agendas and document and distribute takeaways.
•Operate independently and may be requested to work on large and/or complex projects/initiatives as needed.
•Establish & cultivate working relationship with clients and partners. Act as key communicator between the client and client service teams
• Understands client needs and ensures adequate information for a successful implementation.
•Coordinate and perform system set-up and testing: complete personal setup responsibilities and confirm all groups have completed their setup responsibilities.
•Interface with internal and external IT to ensure external IT setup is completed timely and within the constraints of the internal control framework.
•Identify and communicate bespoke client requests (for reporting and other IT builds) according to established guidelines.
•Ensure all necessary implementation documents are initiated and maintained
•Possess in-depth knowledge of business unit / function and key upstream/downstream dependency
• Identify areas for process improvement and carries out activities that are technically difficult to execute on those improvements.
Knowledge/Skills
•Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
•In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
•Highly flexible and adaptable to change
•At least 7 years experience required
•A College or University degree required
•Onboarding experience and/or knowledge of private equity and/or real estate fund industry, products and services for specified area, usually obtained through training and/or related work experience is preferred to service clients.
