Associate Accountant (Administrative)

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for an Associate Accountant! 

Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting and financial analysis activities, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of ledger accounts and preparation of reports and schedules. 
  • Prepare, complete, analyze and report accounting transactions and system maintenance ensuring integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles including ERISA and SEC requirement where applicable.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Conduct financial, business analyses to assess risk, improvement opportunities and potential costs and/or benefits.
  • Focus of responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, receiving, invoicing, remans, and national accounts projects.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications 

Basic Qualifications:  College Degree or equivalent work experience in job related function.

Preferred Qualifications:  May require professional certification.
