JOBSUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Busperson is to provideprompt, courteous service to restaurant patrons and ensure guests are satisfiedwith their dining experience by assisting Food Servers and Captains asnecessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Make sure that all tables are set completelyboth before and after shift.
• Make sure all areas are clean and free ofdebris.
• Polish all glassware as necessary.
• Assist Food Servers in service of complimentarybottled water.
• Maintain tables throughout service, clearingdishes between courses and empty glassware as necessary.
• Clearing and scraping all dishes in the sidestations after clearing a table.
• Stock all side stations with linen and properglassware.
• Service and explanation of bread to guests,after cocktails are served by the captain.
• Maintain professional demeanor throughoutservice, assisting servers and captains as necessary.
• Change tablecloth and reset tables as quickly aspossible after guests leave the restaurant.
• Service of Coffee and Hot tea.
• Move tables throughout dining room in order tobe able to set up and accommodate need of the reservations.
• Carry multiple dishes (up to 6 at one time) inone hand without tray service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Work requires a minimum of 1 year F&Bbussing experience.
• Work requires effective communication inEnglish, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Work requires interactions with customers,public and co-workers.
• Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
• Work requires an attention to detail.
• Work requires a strong understanding of gourmetdining atmosphere.
PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Fast paced, high volume environment involving constantpublic interactions with high communication skills. Ability to carry beverage trays and carryingof plates without tray service. Shifts may vary based on business needs.
