This position will be based out of the PST facility located in North Haven, CT. The Plant Manager is responsible for all manufacturing and production related operations, in accordance to business safety, quality and integrity standards. This individual plans, organizes and leads the plant organization to achieve established financial metrics and strategic goals. This position reports to the vice president of the Americas Coating Service business. Primary responsibilities - Leads plant organization and promotes a culture consistent with Linde values - Drives organization to meet safety, quality, cost, & delivery metrics - Positions a plant organization of skilled labor, staff, and managers to meet operational targets - Executes business plans with focus on operational performance, financial goals, and profitable growth - Develops and sustains good customer relationships to drive growth and customer satisfaction - Champions efforts around operational discipline & productivity (eg. LEAN, 5S, gemba-walks, OpX) Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in a technical field required - 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/operations field required - 3+ years of management experience - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Strong computer proficiency (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases, etc.) - Experience in the aviation industry is a plus PST is a supplier which abides by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
