Adjunct Faculty - Educational Diagnostician Field Supervisor (Finance)

Description:

The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) in the College of Education at the University of Houston invites applications for temporary, non-tenure track, Adjunct Faculty positions as a Field Supervisor for our Educational Diagnostician Certification program. Field Supervisors provide supervision, including structured guidance, ongoing support, and formal observations for candidates enrolled in practicum courses.

As a nontenure track (NTT) position, the appointee will accrue no time toward tenure at the University of Houston. Please reference and review the University of Houston's NTT Faculty Policy, available at this link: https://www.uh.edu/provost/faculty/faculty-policies/non-tenure-track/

Qualifications:
• A master's degree in special education, education diagnostics, or a related field.
• Current, valid TEA certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Educational Diagnostician role in a Texas public, public charter, or accredited private school.
• TEA-approved Field Supervisor Observation Training for Advanced Candidates
