Business Analyst - Partner Services (Administrative)
General Summary:
Vetsource has a keen data driven approach to solving tough problems and requires multi-faceted analysts to provide the skill and insight needed to drive business strategy and development. The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Partner Services department in building promotions and reporting and analyzing the multitude of business and promotional programs we offer our strategic partners, veterinary clients, and pet parents. The Business Analyst builds dashboards and runs reports daily, monthly, and as needed to support partner services and promotional programs, and write queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects. This role will interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, and suggest areas for process improvement or provide recommendations for best practices.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for the set up and development, communication and updates to stakeholders, analysis, and reporting for all promotional programs
Support and participate in special projects by providing analysis
Accurate set up of promotions to meet the needs of the stakeholder, providing recommendations where applicable
Facilitate communication of updates and/or new promotions/programs
Continually optimize existing promotion structure, and become an owner for the development of the promotion tool enhancements and development
Prepare analysis, reports, charts, and visual data representation of findings, and frameworks for best practices and benchmarking across stakeholder promotions
Support the business by building promotion models and conducting elasticity analyses to measure the effectiveness of promotion strategies and effectiveness
Turn numbers into actionable insights and implement tools to aid the decision making process and develop a center of excellence around the use of data within the department
Develop healthy data collection systems & sound strategies for getting quality data from all required data sources
Perform financial modeling and analysis of current partner contracts and potential changes
Provide direction to team members responsible for promotion agreements
Analysis and visualization of metrics by creating and maintaining dashboards

Qualifications:
Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform data into recommendations
Advanced knowledge of data visualization software, spreadsheet applications, and data management; power user of MS Excel
Must be able to make sound judgement decisions and know when to ask their manager for assistance
Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
Proven ability to lead teams toward organizational goals with successful outcomes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate information in a clear, calm, and concise manner
Ability to communicate and partner with other departments in order to identify and assist in the development of enhanced processes and procedures based on sound data analysis
Excellent writing skills with great attention to detail
Must be team-oriented and work well with others
Self- motivated with a strong desire to learn new products and technologies
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with the ability to multi-task
Exhibit a willingness to consistently take on new challenges
Ability to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
Understanding of relational databases
SQL knowledge a plus
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, economics, statistics related field, or equivalent job-related experience.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Office Suite products
2+ years of Analytical experience
2+ years of data visualization software experience
Working Conditions:
Environment where dogs are present
Working at a computer for long periods of time
Noise level is normally quiet to moderate
