About the Opportunity
Our National IT Client Services organization has an exciting opportunity to join their leadership team as the Head of Communications & Marketing.
As the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will report to the Chief Client Services Officer (CCSO) and be the Senior Leader in System IT Communications. You will set the strategic direction and lead the marketing and communication function within a multilayered IT Organization, leading System-wide initiatives by working across National IT, while demonstrating and reinforcing a customer-centric focus, operating with a product-marketing mindset, and advising on change management. As a senior leader within the System IT, this role is instrumental in creating an inspiring team environment with an open innovation, creative, and collaborative culture.
What You Will Do
Lead a team that collaborates across System IT with a variety of stakeholders in a high-change environment
Develop a strong bench of communication talent while demonstrating creativity and the ability to step outside the day-to-day management and empower team members
Establish a strategic vision and branding for System IT to include external branding and employee value proposition
Lead and manage efforts to ensure the success of product development, branding, placement and adoption with a strong skill set in user experience, project management and data-driven client engagement
Set communication strategy for different layers of a complex IT organization where overlap often exist
Ensure consistency in communications, greater impact from messaging, value from the perspective of audiences, and added value to expected outcomes
Establish and maintain an effective communication plan that assures leaders across the Federal Reserve System are informed and prepared for decision-making responsibilities
Qualifications
5+ years of executive level marketing/communications experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or closely-related field
Experience leading Agile transformations
Demonstrated track record as a change leader, driving business and technology strategy
Demonstrated experience developing and leading a team through transition
Experience overseeing Product Marketing in a large-scale IT environment
Proven track record of Marketing internally / externally within an IT organization
Experience with Agile Methodology and change management
