Technology - Software Development/Quality EngineeringPrudential's Asset Management, Financial Management & Corporate Technology (AMFMCT) department is seeking a software engineer to support Prudential's Long-Term Care (LTC) business technology.

Your Impact:
Work with client management and senior technology team members to identify and specify the business requirements
Research and evaluate solutions, recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems program design
Develop systems specifications and flow diagrams and present to other team member
Learn the Prudential ecosystem and be able to work within the guardrails of the company's technology vision and strategy
Collaborate within an agile scrum team
Devise data verification methods and standard systems procedures and participate in systems testing
Demonstrate experience with taking intelligent risks and leveraging a ‘test and learn' mentality
Perform related duties as assigned or requested
Your Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven aptitude, ability and passion for learning new technical and soft skills
Ability to effectively troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis
1-3 years of experience working as a software engineer on distributed applications
Experience working with, designing and writing SQL queries
Ability to code using Python, HTML and scripting languages
Understanding and familiarity with different AWS technologies (Redshift, Athena, Glue and others)
Knowledge of Snowflake
Experience using business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Ability to understand and code REST APIs
Understanding of ETL best practices and methods
Knowledge of software development frameworks (Agile, SaFE, Scrum)
