PROGRAM ASSISTANT (Finance)
Demonstrate exceptional customer service through positive and effective communication with all clients, staff and community stakeholders.
Serve as first point of contact for department
Professionally handle a high volume of incoming calls during VITA tax season
Coordinate activities with Site Coordinators for the Homestead Only Sites
Complete all tasks as assigned by the Program Manager
Communicate with clients via telephone/email regarding VITA program information
Handle escalated calls in a professional manner
Prepare various reports and information as needed
Follow up with clients when inquiries are not immediately resolved
Protects client's information by keeping information confidential
Route phone calls to appropriate staff
Receive and process supply order requests from Site Coordinators
Oversee the submission of VITA intake applications to data entry area
Assist with planning and coordination of special events for VITA, BOC and MFI
Coordinate outreach event scheduling, staffing, and inventorying agency wide marketing materials for events
Schedule meetings/events as directed to support Elected Commissioners
Other duties as assigned
