International Inbound Transportation Analyst - REMOTE (Administrative)

Responsible for managing origin lanes as well as overseeing other team member's lanes they manage.
Vendor Management: Maintain & Update Vendor Routing SOPs. Ensure Vendors are in compliance to the SOPs and assist with questions.
Contract Negotiations: In collaboration with the Transportation Manager, perform rate analysis, analyze and recommend Carrier selection. Provide the necessary service requirements for Lands' End and work with all new carriers on set-up requirements and ensure all reports and standards are understood.
~ Maintain and communicate all Sail Date and routing changes to the business.
~ Maintain and communicate all Transit Time updates in both RMS and TMS.
Track freight movements to ensure the appropriate action(s) are being implemented so that freight is delivered in a timely manner and all vested parties are notified with detailed outline of the impact when exceptions or issues arise.
As opportunity comes up attend seminars, conferences or webinars.
Responsible for being the primary contact on all operational issues to include: Ocean carriers, Domestic carriers, Transload facilities, Dray carriers and Freight Forwarders. Collaboration with internal and external partners on TMS (transportation management system) for implementation, roll out and enhancements.
Monthly Reporting: Develop and maintain monthly reporting and publish to partners/leadership team. Assist with special projects as needed.
Responsible for working with Freight Forwarders and Carriers to ensure Exception Reports are being managed and kept clean as well as addressing issues as they arise to obtain resolution.
Collaborate with Vendor, Production, Customs Compliance, Finance and any other internal/external associate to ensure shipments remain on time.
Respond to requests from all levels within the company and take appropriate and if necessary, extraordinary action to meet customer demand.
Supervise Team: Responsible for the development and training of Transportation Coordinators to align against performance. Must be able to coach, set goals and write performance reviews. Must be able to perform all functions of each desk in a back-up roll capacity.
Must follow all safe work practices, escalate unsafe conditions and report incidents.
