Sr Benefits Analyst (Finance)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Suggest and implement steps/processes, including technological improvements to make the administration of benefits more timely and automatic
- Own or provide support to any projects that address strategic initiatives as directed by the management team.
- Assist in the definition, development and implementation of a Human Resources & Benefits strategy that contributes to the corporation's strategic directions
- Perform audits of the internal systems, provider records and any data exchange between both parties
- Compiles statistical reports for department
- Support the communication and interpretation of Jabil's employee benefit strategies, procedures & compliance requirements
- Within a very entrepreneurial culture, educate colleagues in the spirit of continuous improvement of benefit management & administrative responsibilities globally
- Work with the Benefits Manager/Director to improve benefit offerings while containing costs
- Assist in the vendor management of multiple insurance carriers
- Facilitate projects such as annual testing/filings, executive health program, system improvements, etc
- Ensure on-going compliance of our benefit plans inclusive of FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc
- Keep accurate records, process invoice payments and related administrative activity
- Participate in team projects that address strategic initiatives as directed by Benefits Manager/Director
- Demonstrate ability to work well with team members and business colleagues in the delivery of benefit initiatives as assigned
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job May Also Include the Following Financial Responsibilities
- Weekly Claims tracking (w/bank) and reporting
- Work with external auditors on Annual 401(k) Audit
- 401(k) Contribution Processing
- Perform monthly insurance carrier audits to Benefits system
- Reconciliation of payroll deductions to benefits enrollment
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or CEBS preferred.
- Min 5 years' in Benefits environment; Finance capacity (encouraged)
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
