We are currently looking to bring an Environmental Specialist onto our team in Allentown. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be the key site leader responsible for the factory's environmental and energy program leadership and management. As such, the Environmental Specialist is responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental System certification. This position will actively contribute to major environmental projects and perform environmental reviews of capital projects in relation to our factory's recent expansion. The Environmental Specialist is also responsible for the management of the factory's waste and energy budgets (electric, natural gas, fuel oil) and reporting. As the lead on efforts in energy usage conservation and reductions, you will be an ambassador for environmental awareness and act as liaison between the factory internal teams and the community on environmental concerns.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic Qualification Questions:
Do you have a Bachelor's Degree?
Do you have 2+ years experience working in environmental compliance or other related environmental role?
Preferred Qualifications:
Do you have 1+ Year experience working in food processing, manufacturing or industrial environment?
Do you have a Bachelor's of Science in an Environmental field?
