SUMMARY: The position of Compliance Coordinator has been created to support the Accounting department with a variety of accounting related functions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and willingness to help others. Must be dependable and have excellent organization and communication skills. Strong ability to handle a large volume, multi-task, while successfully assessing priorities, and analyzing problems. This individual will have experience with reviewing subcontractor's certified payroll, Contractor license and OCIP/COI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage subcontracts issued thru Procore Responsible for reviewing, recording, and following up on Subcontractors certified payroll: Verify that appropriate wages are being paid on certified payroll against – CA prevailing wage labor-wage determinations and/or Federal Davis Bacon wage rates. Reviewing subcontractors fringe benefits statements, DAS 140s – DAS142s, CAC2s (training fund contributions) Forward labor documents as needed per individual job requirements. Maintain Subcontractor Contractor License's and DIR registrations Maintain Subcontractor COI Collection of Preliminary Notices and required Lien releases Support department as needed, including: Perform overtime work as required and requested by supervisor to meet department and company needs and other tasks as assigned.
Key 30, 60, 90 Day Accomplishments Understand differences in prevailing wage jobs and forms required. Understand insurance requirements, OCIPS. Review subcontractor's CPR
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION: 3-5 years of construction experience relating to compliance. Experience with subcontractor labor compliance / certified payroll. Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under a high-volume workload. Urgency to complete tasks so projects can keep momentum. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects throughout the day with changing priorities. Shows desire to do what it right to limit risk for the company. Associates Degree or additional technical training. Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standard office environment. Individual will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Occasionally may have to lift boxes full of materials for purposes of setup of programs, typically 25 pounds or less.
