National Account Manager, Lowes Home Improvement (Finance)



This position is within the US Business Operations Channel Organization. The individual in this role will be responsible for and have ownership of the direct relationship with the Lowes retail accounts (& other retail accounts); planning and execution of strategies and tactics by managing retail sales representative agencies to profitably grow and meet sales quotas.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive implementation of corporate business / strategic plans, that result in significant year over year growth
  • Provide leadership and management of the retail sales rep agency through effective communication, active planning, coaching and development to achieve mutually agreed upon goals
  • Proactively identify changes in customer requirements, including competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and provides analytics of market share and wallet share to enable sales optimization
  • Engage internal stakeholders in the development of products and packaging to meet the needs of the retail customer and market
  • Drive eCommerce sales by engaging Schneider resources & targeting the account's on-line sales organization
  • Assure effective integration and engagement of Schneider stakeholders and management within assigned account
  • Provide leadership within the Retail channel organization
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications - External

This job might be for you if:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience: 10+ years in sales and/or marketing. Previous strategic account management and/or direct management of employees experience preferred.
  • Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Thorough knowledge of the electrical industry a plus. Specific knowledge and experience in the Retail market preferred. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Professional oral and written communication skills. Capable of Financial and Market Analysis and reporting. Possess a high degree of problem solving and ability to work independently.
  • Tools: Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Travel: Up to 30% travel required
