Occupational Therapist Part Time (Healthcare)

Are you ready to bring your creativity, compassion, and clinical skills to a dynamic team that's all about helping people live their best lives? We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who's passionate about making a difference—and having fun while doing it!

In this rewarding role, you'll:

  • Jump into action by evaluating new patients within 24 hours of referral (or next business day)—because we don't like to keep people waiting!
  • Craft personalized treatment plans that work and get the green light from referring physicians.
  • Put your plans into motion by delivering hands-on therapy that helps people regain independence and reach their goals.
  • Share your knowledge and support by training Restorative Aides and supervising OT Assistants (COTAs).
  • Be the communication champion—keeping the care team in the loop on progress, plans, and goals.
  • Attend team huddles like Patient Care Conferences and Rehab Reviews to keep care collaborative and patient-centered.
  • Get involved in training sessions to help other staff grow their skills.
  • Document with precision—evaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and more—meeting state, federal, and insurance requirements.
  • Empower patients and families with caregiver education and home-care plans for smooth discharges.
  • Help with equipment recommendations like walkers, braces, and grab bars so patients can thrive at home.
  • Keep our department running smoothly by reporting any equipment issues.
  • Build meaningful connections with patients, families, and your fellow healthcare pros.
You'll also be a great fit if you:
  • Are a positive, energetic communicator who loves working as part of a team.
  • Enjoy teaching and mentoring others.
  • Are flexible, adaptable, and love solving challenges with a smile.
Supervision Duties:
  • Guide and support COTAs, therapy aides, and students as they grow in their roles.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (bonus points for Master's or Doctorate!).
  • A current OT license in the state and up-to-date continuing education.
  • Experience using documentation platforms like Casamba or PointClickCare.
  • Strong reading comprehension and math skills (we're talking ratios, not calculus).
  • A curious, problem-solving mindset that thrives on collaboration and creativity.
Physical & Work Environment:
  • This is an active, hands-on role—walking, lifting, kneeling, and more are part of the daily adventure.
  • You'll need to be comfortable lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally (don't worry—you won't be doing it alone!).
  • Our work environment is calm but full of energy—perfect for focused care and team collaboration.
