Pulmonary Function Technologist - 80% FTE - University Hospital (Healthcare)

We are seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist to:
Assess and monitor cardiopulmonary function.
Perform routine testing, such as spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion.
Education:
Minimum – Successful completion of a two-year COARC accredited School for Respiratory Care.
Preferred – Bachelor or Master's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Work Experience:
Minimum – Experience performing spirometry.
Preferred – Experience performing pulmonary function testing beyond spirometry.
License and Certifications:
Minimum—
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of professionals.
Physical Requirements:
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Work Schedule:
80% FTE, 32 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are between the hours of 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
