Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (Microsurgeon), Plastic Surgery - Surgery, McGovern Medical School (Finance)
Interest and experience in research in trauma reconstruction is preferred. The Division chiefly operates out of Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The Red Duke Trauma Institute is one of the busiest trauma practices in the country and the home of Life Flight.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery will provide direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents in clinic and hospital settings.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. The candidate must have completed a microsurgery fellowship and must be board certified or eligible and able to secure a license in the State of Texas. The successful candidate should demonstrate a clinical interest in traumatic lower extremity microsurgery reconstruction.
