Wintrust 2025 Summer Internship - Human Resources Coordinator (Human Resources)

Come join our team and let us show you why Wintrust was named a Chicago Tribune TOP WORKPLACE 10 years in a row. As a member of the MYHR Service Center, you will be the face of HR to our employees, providing exceptional customer service while solving sometimes complex issues. Working in the Corporate HR department, this position provides comprehensive HR and team member level support via both phone and email to all Wintrust employees across our different companies.

HR Coordinator Intern Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the onboarding and implementation of our new Learning Management Systems.
  • Set up user roles, permissions, courses, and system preferences based on organizational needs.
  • Support the migration of existing content to the new platform by uploading, organizing, and structuring learning modules, assessments, and resources.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems to ensure candidate records are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, ensuring alignment between candidates, recruiters, and interviewers.
  • Assist in general weekly recruitment reports, tracking key metrics like candidate pipeline, candidate hires, time to fill, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Manage job postings across various platforms, ensuring consistency and proper categorization.

Details:  

  • The 2025 program will run Tuesday, May 20th – Friday, August 8th.
  • 40 hours/week, Paid summer internship.
  • Participate in intern program activities, events, and development opportunities with your cohort.  

Compensation:

  • The hourly rate for this role is $18.00/hour.

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university, with preference for students entering their senior year.
  • Concentrations in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communications, Instructional Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science is strongly preferred. 
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. 
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and organizational skills. 
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset. 
  • Leadership skills with a passion for results.
